International Volunteer Day 2013 Campaign | August to November 2013
Start Now was commissioned by the International Volunteer Day (IVD) Committee to run the first-ever IVD Campaign. Previous years had seen IVD run as a single-day event. In our capacity as the Official Campaign Manager, we engaged 131 Nonprofits, over 2,800 volunteers and collated over 1,300 stories about volunteering through our MyVolunteerHero Story Collective. We managed everything from disbursement of grants, media relations, event organizing to website development, Facebook marketing and online marketing through a Story Collective.

National Arts Council Arts Volunteering Programme | January to December 2012
Start Now worked with the National Arts Council to train volunteers with art skills. Volunteers then used these art and creativity skills to conduct volunteering activities with beneficiaries. In 2012, Start Now conducted 4 workshops with 4 award-winning Singapore artists, including Mr. Justin Lee and Mdm. Tay Bee Aye. As a result of these workshops, 16 additional volunteer-led spin-off activities took place, with nonprofits such as Club Rainbow, Bethesda Care, High Point and Make-A-Wish Foundation, among others. Start Now was the programme and campaign manager for this pilot programme. Since then, NAC has launched the WeCare Arts Programme, which utilizes the same model as that of the pilot programme.
Shine Youth Festival 'Plege to Shine' Mini-Campaign | June to October 2012
In June 2012, Start Now was approached by the National Youth Council to create a portal to get youth to pledge their aspirations for giving back to the community. We succeeded in creating a technology platform e-campaign that garnered 10,000 pledges from 10,000 different individuals. To do so, we relied on our technology development team to create a portal that was linked to Facebook and other social media outlets. These vital linkages provided a multiplier, viral effect.
International Volunteer Day 2012 Online Campaign | October to November 2012
For the International Volunteer Day Carnival 2012, Start Now was the main powering platform - providing web interface, social media marketing and on-site registration. To help volunteers with registration, Start Now designed and built a custom phone application to easily check-in event participants. For a budget of just $475, Start Now’s social media marketing campaign created over 1 million impressions and generated over 3,000 direct individual click-through registrations in a short span of 2 weeks. Lastly, as part of the Operations Committee, Start Now’s team actively reached out to Volunteer Host Organizations and Corporates to promote bulk registration as well.
